This large Asian kingcup has large dark green leaves almost 30 cm across and will grow quite happily in the bog garden or as a marginal plant. It produces a wealth of beautiful yellow flowers in spring. After flowering it will produce stolons from which new plantlets will root; these can be divided off when large enough and planted up, two or three to a basket to form a nice clump. Plant in a medium or large planting basket using aquatic soil and covering with aquatic pea gravel.
