One of the smaller-leaved hostas, with smooth, lance-shaped, glaucous leaves and spikes of handsome, lavender-grey, bell-shaped flowers in July and August.

For the most intense shade of blue, grow plants in shade, the foliage is complemented by the bell-shaped, greyish-lavender flowers. Grows to around 40cm high.
