The gorgeous blooms of Iris ensata come in a wealth of different colours and shades“ white, pink, purple, mauve and combinations of these give a glorious display in early summer. They look especially good grown by the pond or in the shallow water margins where they are reflected in the water. Plant in moist conditions at the pondside, or in the pond , Zone 2. The green erect leaves provide excellent habitat for emerging dragonflies and other pond life.
