One of the Evansia family of irises, this beautiful Japanese Iris has fans of pretty, variegated foliage; leaves are ribbed and broadly lance shaped. Grows to 35 cm in height. Bright lilac flowers up to 8 cm across are produced in early summer. It is frost hardy, but prefers a sheltered, sunny site.
