Juncus Ensifolius

  • Juncus Ensifolius
Latin Name: Green Rush

This attractive little rush forms very pleasing compact clumps. The broad leaves look like small iris seedlings. Foliage is slightly blue-green. A useful plant for shady situations where other rushes may not thrive. The dark brown seed heads last all summer. Clumps are easily divided in spring when required. Plant in a medium container using aquatic soil covered with pea gravel. Place on the marginal shelf with up to 5cm of water above the soil.
