Milk Chocolate Sedge
This interesting sedge forms dense mounds of strappy, 'milk chocolate' leaves which have a slightly pink tinge to the edges, turning orange-brown in the autumn. Its long, thin, blade-like leaves form a natural mounded shape, and it bears inconspicuous white flowers in summer. Height to 45 cm.
Like most Carex this is a versatile plant that will tolerate many soils and aspects, but if grown in sun will need regular watering.
