Latin Name: Agapanthus Headbourne Hybrids
Moisture/Zone: Keep moist
Flower Colour: Blue or white
Growth Speed: Slow
Foliage Type: Deciduous

These handsome modern hybrids make a wonderful show with large dense umbels of blue or white flowers held on erect stems. Height 50 cm to 1 m.  A very showy perennial forming strong clumps and flowering in late summer. Attractive to insects.
The seedheads, if left over winter, look attractive and provide food for birds. The plant likes a sunny situation with moist but well drained soil. It is hardy in most areas, dying back to bulb form in winter. Ideal for garden planting, or to feature in a patio container. Plants can be propagated by division in spring.
