A very pretty, deciduous fern, leaves are arching trigular fronds of silvery-green. Contrasting stems and veins are bright burgandy red, the colour intensifying with age. Leaves give off a slightly spicey fragrance. Needs to be kept moist at all times. A beautiful foliage plant that can succeed in a difficult situation where other plants would fail. Ideal to enhance a shady situation indoors, in the conservatory or in the garden. Height to 50cm. Deciduous, old foliage can be cut back in winter or early spring.
