A tall and graceful architectural plant, Miscnathus belongs to the family of grasses. This variegated form has strong, broad folaige splashed horizontally with bold yellow bars. It grows into eye-catching clumps topped with wonderful feathery plumes in summer which last right through to spring, providing interest and movement in winter. likes a moist, sunny position with deep, rich compost. Can be used to feature in patio pots and will not need winter protection. Cut off old growth in spring when new shoots start to appear.
