Foxgloves are a favourite garden plant, producing tall upright spikes of tubular flowers. The beautiful mauve or white flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies. They prefer a lightly shaded position with humus rich, moist soil. Cut back after flowering to encourage new shoots. Popular for cut flowers. CAUTION - toxic if eaten.
