A free flowering herbaceous perennial producing a profusion of large white daisy-like flowers all summer. Has a clump forming upright habit. Dark green foliage is deeply toothed. THe 'Shasta Daisy'  makes a stunning show planted in bold drifts at the front of a sunny border. Attractive to bees and butterflies. Plant in full or part sun in average, well drained, soil. Height to 50 cm., a compact dwarf variety. Good for cut flowers. Cut back in autumn and protect from frost with mulch, or ovewinter in a greenhouse.
