Tiny bell shaped flowers are dark red to reddish pink, born in narrow spikes on long stems. Flowering from mid-summer to autumn. A beautiful foliage plant, lance shaped leaves are golden to yellowish-green.  Provides a lovely contrast to other garden plants. Vigorous, clump-forming, deciduous perennial.  Upright habit, height to 100 cm. Plant in full sun or part sun. Soil should be moist but well drained. Plant in the garden or grow as a feature in a container. Can be cut back after flowering. Attractive to bees. Hardy, robust plant, easy to grow.
