A tall and graceful architectural plant, Miscanthus belongs to the family of grasses. Cabaret has broad leaves, up to 32 mm wide, with spectacular variegation, cream white in the centre with dark green margins.  It grows into eye-catching clumps topped with wonderful feathery plumes in autumn which last right through to spring, providing interest and movement in winter. Height to 2.7 m. when mature. Likes a moist position in full sun or light shade with deep, rich compost; excellent in a border to compliment other plants. Can be used to feature in patio pots and will not need winter protection. Cut off old growth in spring when new shoots start to appear.
