Saucer-shaped violet blue flowers have dainty white centres. Very long flowering season from May right through to first frost. Foliage is green - makes an excellent ground cover plant suppressing weeds. A herbaceous perennial with a low mounding habit. Plant in full or part sun in moist but well drained soil. Height to 30 cm. Hardy plant, low maintenance and easy to grow. Plant in the garen or feature in a container. In autumn the foliage changes to reddish-brown and firey orange, giving a late splash of colour.
