This Day Lily produces a wealth of elegant, trumpet-like blooms in summer. Long flowering period from May until first frost. Flowers are creamy white to pale yellow. Individual flowers are short lived, but continually replaced by new ones. Leaves are dark green.This pretty dwarf variety provides a wonderful display. Height 90 cm. Plant in full or part sun. Grows best in well drained, fertle soil; keep moist in summer, protecting with mulch if necessary. Perfect for a sunny herbaceous border, or feature in a container. Clump forming. Old foliage can be cut back in late autumn. Atractive to butterflies. Day lilies come from the far east where they have been cultivated for thousands of years. All parts of the plant are edible, though it is the flowers that are most commonly used.
