The 'Pincushion' flower is so called for the prominent stamens which stick out like pins. Free flowering, gives a wonderful display. Flowers are blue, long flowering from spring to autumn. Suited to moist but well drained soil in full sun. Hardy. Attractive to butterflies and bees. Dead-heading can prolong flowering. Good for cut flowers. Plant in the garden or grow as a feature in a patio pot. Height to 20 cm.
